Community Referral
A hospital social worker reached out on a Thursday afternoon. Her patient — a 58-year-old man recently diagnosed with a chronic condition — had no family support and was being discharged the next morning. Within 24 hours, a warm handoff was arranged: housing stability, a peer support group, and a first appointment already scheduled.
Clinical Supervision
She ran a 40-person nonprofit serving youth in crisis. Competent, respected, and completely alone with the weight of it. Supervision became the one hour each week where she didn't have to have an answer — just notice what the work was doing to her, and what she still wanted it to mean.
